I’m a dreamer. I’m always looking for ways to leave an impact on the world, for me that starts with a dream and a goal. One of my dreams is to provide kids with tools to help them emotionally regulate. I will forever look back at my time in the classroom as pathway to my dream.
I absolutely loved education, the classroom, the students, and now I still love hearing from the parents and students I previously taught. It reminds me that even being present in someone’s life for just a little can leave an impact.
But sometimes life gets busy and curveballs get thrown and it seems like the dream is untouchable. I found this quote by Harriet Tubman and it has stuck with me.
“Every great dream begins with a dreamer. Always remember, you have within you the strength,
the patience, and the passion to reach for the stars to change the world.”
Sometimes becoming a published children’s author feels like an impossible dream. I don’t know how to market, how much to get the word out there, and all those tiny details. But I was reminded that it takes patience and strength to push through.
It takes passion for the end dream to come to fruition. Seeing character sketches of my first book pushes me even harder to continue pursuing the dream. And I can’t wait to share a sketch or two with you soon.
Thanks for joining me in this journey and if you feel encouraged would you share my blog so others can learn more about my book?
